Niki Patel
Mentoring Program Coordinator
Niki Patel was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is a third year student at Emory University where she is studying Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Philosophy on the pre-med track. In her free time, Niki enjoys volunteering with the refugee and immigrant populations of the greater Atlanta area at food distributions, talking to her first-year residents in her role as a Resident Advisor, and watching trashy reality TV shows. Niki has served in several mentoring roles at Emory through Residence Life, as the facilitator of a student-led initiative called Reaching Inner Success and Exploration (RISE), and a STEM mentor with Citizens Science HD. Niki believes that becoming a leader is a process that anyone can undergo, and empowering youth is one of the strongest tools to make meaningful change. As the new Mentoring Program Coordinator, Niki aims to merge her passion for serving refugee and immigrant populations and supporting students to develop into servant leaders.
